This is without a doubt Portland's showcase event. With more than 70 happenings, the festival always takes place in June as the roses kick into full bloom. The Grand Floral Parade is the second-largest floral parade in the country. The Junior Parade is the oldest and largest children's parade. The city's bridges and people come to life with events on the water, an arts festival, fair-rides and fireworks. The city will be busy, so make your hotel reservations early.
