Located in a busy district downtown, this Malay restaurant continues to draw in the lunchtime office crowds with inexpensive and tasty cooking. Furnishings are simple and resemble the basic layout of a typical corner coffee shop. The food is, however, something else. Worth trying are nasi daging merah (white rice with beef and vegetables), mee goreng, mee hailam, nasi paprika (fried rice with chicken and vegetables wrapped up in an omelette) and nasi goreng cili padi. Soft drinks, fruit juices, hot and cold beverages are available.
