The Palladium has been considered the largest dance club in the world. Before it became a club and concert venue, it was a spot for awards ceremonies like the Grammys and the Emmys. Although it retains traces of its former grandeur, it currently hosts loud concerts, something the neighbors, who still remember it as the sedate spot from where the Lawrence Welk show was broadcast, aren't thrilled about. Bands that have performed here include The Rolling Stones, The Who, David Bowie and The Clash. It also hosts other events such as seminars, conventions and social events. Call the Palladium or check its Web site for upcoming show information.
