Chaya Brasserie is a delightful restaurant just off Robertson Boulevard is a popular spot with many locals. Most of the customers are in the entertainment industry, but it is also often filled with doctors from the nearby Cedars Sinai who take advantage of the late supper, served until midnight on Friday and Saturday nights. There is a trendy bar scene here where industry professionals come to see and be seen, aided by the giant mirror hanging over the bar. The menu is delicious and eclectic. Items include spaghetti with Japanese eggplant, lobster ravioli, grilled swordfish, goat cheese eggplant risotto, chaya steak and penne arrabbiata.
